Prayers for all of our fighting men and women in harm's way on this Memorial Day.

I did not see it but I served with one who was shot in the knee in Afghanistan back in the 80s. I echo your sentiment to our fighting men and women around the globe regardless of branch, job or rank.

My boyfriend's brother-in-law is a Green Beret with ODA 316 out of Ft. Bragg. He's been in Afghanistan since January (his 5th deployment over there), and was due to come home in August. However, with a recent increase in "activity" it now looks like that return date could be delayed.

Many prayers for the warriors of ODA 316, and all of our military men and women, as well as their families who make so many sacrifices while their loved one is deployed.

As an aside, the moive "The Green Berets," with John Wayne is perhaps the worst war movie ever made.
