injury?

They were talking on sports radio that a horns player went down in the game yesterday with a foor injury and didnt return.. I missed the game and haven't seen any info on this..

Gary Johnson. Looked like he sprained his ankle, but Texas wouldn't say, which doesn't surprise me since the guy has a heart condition and they won't say what that is, either.

ESPN just reported that he won't play today.

By law, universities are not permitted to discuss the nature of an athlete's injury without his/her permission. Granted, I think the athletes are rarely ever asked for permission. I think most schools and coaches just use that as an excuse not to have to provide that information to the media. Then again, a guy like Johnson, who has now suffered his third setback of the year (heart, nose, and now ankle) probably doesn't want the "injury-prone" talk to start, so he may have asked the university to keep quiet about all of it.
