Injury update from OU and Tenn

OU’s Whitney Hand was injured Friday in their win over San Diego State. So far, no further news other than she suffered a knee injury. FWIW, OU coach has been quoted on OU boards as saying it didn’t look good. Hope it’s not an ACL.

On Sunday, Tennessee released a statement that Kelley Cain had suffered a concussion and would miss the next scheduled game against George Washington on Tuesday. This is her fourth concussion. She may be available for the Texas game if she passes all the medical exams.

The WCBB ESPN board reports are that Hand suffered an ACL - but that could be false.

that's true, Rexy. There's nothing official from OU other than the story saying she had a knee injury. Guess we will know for sure by the end of the week.

Any news on Cain? I hope she gets to play...we need to see them at full strengh.
