Injuries

I’d like for someone to clarify for me what the specific injuries/sickness are to Cassie, Brady, and Tiffany. I read that Brady has a back injury, but I haven’t read how bad it is or how she hurt it. I don’t know if Cassie’s and Tiffany’s injuries are old ones not healed yet or new ones, nor have I read any prognosis regarding when any of them will be ready to play.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Tiffany Moore isn't necessarily injured. What has been stated is that she has "severe allergies".

That being said, anyone know if she has been practicing, suiting up for the games, travelling with the team, etc.?

The status of these three hasn’t been made public. That said, don’t expect to see Tiff or Brady on the court anytime soon. From what I have heard there is hope to have Cassie back soon, but nothing that is certain.

I don't think Tiffany was in Austin this fall. I don't know anything about Brady or Cassie.

yeah, Texas is doing a good job of complying with HIPPA regs. Frustrating for fans, yes but necessary for privacy for students.

Given the time that Tiff and Brady have been out, I really don't expect either to play this year. That's based pretty much on experience from my "real" job working with people recovering from surgeries and back problems. It's not a quick process. I still have hopes that Cassie will return. She has played very well when she has been in, given that she is has not fully recoverd from leg surgery. Shanice, of course, is out for the year with a preseason ACL tear.

I wish Coach G and the team could get through a season without multiple injuries to either guard/post positions at one time.

On the "injuries you can grit your teeth and push your way through once you're 80% or so", scale, back injuries are very near the "don't try it" end.

Hopefully everyone heals soon and can rejoin the team. If Tiff was not at the 40 acres this Fall semester her illnes could be serious. I have serious allergies but not bad enough to keep me from work/school. I just walk around w/ plenty of kleenex, claritin D and my allergy shots
when I need them. The headaches are the "worse".
