Infiniti G35 or Acura TL

my parents just bought an acura TL and they love it. the dealer went down to the price they wanted and they got all the perks that come with it. the ride is extra smooth and it's a fantastic design.

second the G35C, but for the love of God man, no ******* spoiler...it completely ruins the lines of that car IMO.

I ahve been driving an '04 TL for over a year ago. I love it. It is very well equipped for the price, and the quality is excellent. I cannot comment on the Infiniti, but can whole heartedly reccomend the Acura. If you have any soecific questions I will try to answer them.

My parents have the Acura TL and several of my friends have the G35C, both are great cats but I'll have to go w/ the TL

the TL has way more than you pay for. The g35 is made with cheaper materials, cheaper alloys. I love the design of the g35 coupe... but it can't really touch the honda/acura reliability and total package.

I think ghost and I will both tell you that the G35 is the better choice. I have the coupe, but I hear the sedan is great as well...I get amazing gas mileage, great warranty, and it's pretty dent resistant. I love my car!

My dad has a 2000 Acura 3.2 TL and it is a great car. No major problems, just routine maintenance. It still looks and drives as if it were new. I'll probably buy an Acura someday.

I'm sure the Infiniti is a great car, I just don't know anyting about them. But you'd be hard-pressed to beat an Acura in terms of overall quality.

I have a 2004 TL. It would be the perfect sports car if it were rear wheel drive. I have been happy with it.

I can't speak to the TL, but I used to have a CL and it was an AMAZING car - more fun to drive than a Merc or a Lexus.

If you can stomach the looks of the new TL, then go with it because it is a phenomenal car.

I drive a 2002 TL-S and it runs like a dream. Extemely quiet ride. Also if you can swing it, the navigation is a really sweet option. It saves me everytime I have to drive into Houston.

The G35 is very nice, but the backseat is tiny...similar to a 3-Series. Not all that familiar with the TL. If you are going to be hauling around kids or adults in the back seat often, skip the G35..

G35 interior sucks bigtime, but the exterior has serious sex appeal. When I was considering cars/trucks I drove both the TL and the G35 coupe -- the G35 is a fantastic ride too. However, if reliability is the issue, I don't see how you can pass over the TL.

But what do I know, I picked a Chevy Tahoe.

I have the 2004 TL with Navi and love it. I went through the same decision and test drove both 3 or 4 times. I think the G35 is better for very aggressive driving. But 99% of the time I am not doing this. The TL is a better road car. What made me decision was the TL is better looking on the outside and the inside is much nicer. The inside of the G35 has very cheap materials and reminds me of a low end Nissan. The black interior choice of the G35 hides it somewhat but not completely. The TL also cames fully loaded with XM radio and no options. I did get the Navigation system on the TL and it is the best in the business. The G35s is pop-up, smaller, and is not touch screen. Also the TL has a great stock sound system. Unless you really plan on pushing your car to the limits, I would go with the TL.

Quality G35 vs Acura TL

Doesn't appear the either is very great mechanically in initial quality. I am sure they are both great over the life of the car. Don't really like either, but if I had to choose 1 I'd take the Nissan over the Honda.

If it doesn't top out at at least 175mph, why the hell would anyone over the age of 16 want a coupe? Go with the G35 sedan. They are pretty sweet and very reasonably priced.
