Inexpensive laptop repair in austin?

Compaq. I called Mr.Notebook and they suggested Computize. They said it would be either 100 or 400 dollars. So I have seen alot of deals on Fatwallet.com for 400-500 dollar laptops. I guess I should see how much I can sell mine for on ebay and how much it costs to determine whether it is a 100 or 400 dollar job.

did you ruin your screen? i ruined mine. sold it on ebay as is. it worked still but had some splotches. i showed it at its worst and sold it. then bought another screen on ebay. it was much cheaper than buying a brand new screen.
