Inept, stupid, brainless, moronic, dumb.......

NM the Problem is that we need a coach (wait for it) like Saban that coaches football and doesn't give a rat's a$$ about anything else. They are few and far between. And why would one of those few come deal with the confederacy of dunces that stand in the way of a simple goal from ill advised faculty, poorly run city and and entitlement culture.
I saw today that there are not only tent cities underneath the overpasses but in the grassy medians. ****, it’s about 10x worse than Houston. How do they cut the grass?

It’s disgusting over on Riverside in the grass median but it’s less than it was last year if you can believe it!

Portal and fire errbody who refuses to engulf our traditions and pride in UT,( including the coaches and administrators )....Recruit athletes who will rejoice in The University. If that means only players who don't give a rats *** about any BS history of a song that simply states that the eyes of the great state of Texas are watching you and expecting you to proudly represent yourself and your school all your life ,then so be it....

LD, there will “always” be a line of people dying to take the job. Two reasons: Money & egos. That will never change.
Problem is everyone wants a coach with a great track record in a P5 conference who's a saint off the field. There aren't many, if any, who meet that criteria. Can anyone give me 3 names?

There aren’t enough words to describe how pathetic this team’s effort today was. They should be 1-2 and they may well end year 3-7. The Eyes of Texas are on these losers and that is what they are a bunch of entitled losers.

I’m a little disappointed in the effort today.
Wow, are you guys kidding. Tom Herman is the right man for the job. We have to give this guy an opportunity to succeed. He’s a great recruiter and has improved the team, Wait WAIT WAIT! I’m sick and tired of defending the guy. Time for a change.
Little River Band would agree with you.
"time for Cool Change".... just sayin.

I never cared about the saint stuff, as long as he doesn'e break any laws I want the coach to push the boundaries of competition to the absolute limit. I haven't seen that happen at UT ever.

To be honest, I would hire a nobody who wouldn't demand a high starting salary and write in his contract that if he performs then he will get his just deserves.

Coaches who demand the world off the bat is akin to corporate America where CEOs get paid ridiculous compensation packages guaranteed without proving that they are worth it. Doesn't matter what you did at your previous employment, only matters what you do once you get hired.

Hire a young up and coming coach who will prove himself before he gets paid millions. I bet there are a few coaches who would jump at the opportunity to work at Texas for a little over a million a year starting out.

Please take Bevo out of the running. Thanks!

Matt Campbell beat OU.
What ever happened to hiring Texas High School coaches. Some school districts are the same size as small colleges. . They know Texas tradition, discipline, and high school coaches. Granted College is different than High School, but it couldnt be worse than these last two.

He also lost to Louisiana Lafayette.

That ULaLa to you.

So you're saying as long as we don't schedule them, we'll be OK?

Totaly different tasks between a HS football coach and college. Allegedly no recruiting for HS, though you know that's a lie. No managing of high dollar donors, press relations, travel issues, media spotlight, etc. Very few coaches make the jump I'd say from HS coach to a big name college.

Of course no press conference today for some reason. I can't believe a reporter didn't ask him about running hurry up there. Seems like the most obvious questions "Not to excuse Ingram's fumble but why are you running a hurry up there you idiot?"

How many does he have to lose to understand our defense sucks and we can't give the ball back with time left on the clock...

Th e fumble was caused by running into the pole instead of going right where the field was wide open.
And the long kick off called back was Jamison not Robinson.
