There aren’t enough words to describe how pathetic this team’s effort today was. They should be 1-2 and they may well end year 3-7. The Eyes of Texas are on these losers and that is what they are a bunch of entitled losers.


I’m a little disappointed in the effort today.
 
Tom Herman is a joke. This is his 4th year and if he was worth a damn there would be no doubt about it now. Undisciplined play, garbage defense, at $5M per year he owns all of it. Texas hired an imposter.
 
The number of brain farts and undisciplined plays is astounding. TCU should have won by 20 if they don’t kick four field goals in the red zone.

Didn’t watch, but couldn’t help getting updates while we watched the Tennessee game. Good to hear Herman crapped the bed again Which should lead to a quicker exit. I’ll be back when he is gone.
 
Awful in every aspect of game. Top to bottom this is a poorly coached poorly motivated and just really not smart team. It’s hard to say anything positive about where this program is currently at. Frankly it’s 1997 all over again and time for Mackovick part two to move on. Actually calling him Mackovick part two is an insult to Mackovick, time for better then Charlie but that’s about it to move on..

They are apparently still focused on the Eyes rather than playing real football. This group seems to be undisciplined and unmotivated and the play calling was atrocious.
 
Very sardonically I had those thoughts AustinB, if they worried less about the “eyes” and more about football perhaps it would be reflected in their playing. Dunno but could be a mental distraction.
 
Wish I could get into CDC’s head. No doubt he knows he has a big problem. And losing again to TCU, when favored by almost two touchdowns at home, has to really piss him off.

He knows that Herman cannot get it done, and he knows that the inmates are running the asylum. Herman empowered them to do so in the summer.

The sooner we can get past this disappointing chapter, the better.

I think that through what I believe to be capitulation, Herman set a very bad precedent. Whether or not he thinks or realizes it, it is a factor. He does not have complete control of this team. We know it and they know it.
 
This entire coaching staff doesn't appear to have a clue. Why were they in such a hurry with 2:30 left and they're inside the 5? So Ingraham holds on and scores, you gonna leave TCU with that much time?

Lose to ou and this season is over. If totally tanking from there on out is what it takes to get CDC to send TH packing, I'm alright with it. But after Charlie and now this cluster I'm not hopeful of getting quality in here. I'd love to be wrong.

You are probably right BUT this year how could we possibly get a new coach? I just don't see it. Maybe we could get Urban Meyer? I just don't see an obvious hire, willing to move to program with high expectations and wide spread multisport revolt against the University and its alumni by student athletes. ( the volleyball team won't sing the eyes of Texas!) Jeez.

As much as I would like to see a change in corona world there isn't the money to buy out Tommy terrific so he will be here next year even if they stumble to a 6-4 or 5-5 season. 200 million in losses means there isn’t the ability to eat a huge contract and make a splash hire.

even if we had the money I don't think there is a coach willing to come.
 
Wow, are you guys kidding. Tom Herman is the right man for the job. We have to give this guy an opportunity to succeed. He’s a great recruiter and has improved the team, Wait WAIT WAIT! I’m sick and tired of defending the guy. Time for a change.

NM the Problem is that we need a coach (wait for it) like Saban that coaches football and doesn't give a rat's a$$ about anything else. They are few and far between. And why would one of those few come deal with the confederacy of dunces that stand in the way of a simple goal from ill advised faculty, poorly run city and and entitlement culture.

There's a lot of talk about the culture of the program. The current culture seems is all Herman and Del Conte's doing. So much of it seems so scripted and orchestrated. Everything connected to this program at the present time just seems trendy and gimmicky.
