Has been a hectic few months and i have not had time to follow up on the team this year. Could those with the insight share there views on how they feel this years team is shaping up? Really hoping for a solid team it has been a few years.Thank you in advance.
 
IMO…this year’s team should be one of the best in the Country

The best thing about this year as compared to last is that coming into the year we have a sure fire top of the rotation guy with Chance Ruffin. The rest of the rotation should fill out nicely with the returns of Brandon Workman (who had a great summer), Cole Green, Austin Wood (who will probably be the closer) and Slayton Thomas, Shinaberry, Boeing…etc. in the bullpen. Plus the most exciting crop of freshman pitchers in years – Taylor Jungmann, Austin Dicharry, Sam Stafford, and Andrew Mickarahan all have big time potential.

The Offense on paper looks a little down from last year with the loss of Russell and Danks, but there are really solid veteran hitters returning and young guys with a whole lot of potential. Moldie, Keyes, Preston Clark, Belt, Hernandez, Lusson, Rupp, Torres, and Tucker are all returning after contributing last year, and guys like Connor Rowe and Tant Shepard will see alot of action, and look for some of the new guys like Brandon Loy, Jordan Etier, Kevin Lusson, and Morgan Mickan to contribute….The strength of the offense will be depth, not necessarily power.

I expect this team to again compete for the Conference Title and also have a very realistic shot at getting back to Omaha.

Thank you Anton I appreciate the update and your time. Hoping the wife and i will have the time to make some games this season. Ive always wanted to make a trip to Omah and hoping this will be the year.
