I don't think Imani's departure had anything to do with 'managed attrition.' And Baylor's top two signees in the incoming class are both posts. Wright was the Bear's #2 scorer, and top 3 pt threat last season, certainly not a player they wanted to see move on. There was a tweet by one of the other players who left recently about 4-5 days before the news of Imani's departure broke. It said something about hoping Imani would get her real feelings out...perhaps she did, and that's why she's no longer a Bear.I don't track Baylor's team very carefully in terms of players or scholarships but I do recall a sudden surge of top players signing with them near signing day.....like 3 big name recruits (on top of 2 longtime commits). I was wondering how they could "afford" those extra players. In the foodball world that's the "managed attrition". Course you could flip the mirror and say we did some in a similar, but not identical way as well.
