I am also tired of winter...we've had 70+inches of snow this winter in western NC and people in my house are about to start killing each other cause they can't go out. Ohhh and the kids have missed almost 20 days of school.

i swear i will never complain about 105 in august and a dry barton creek when i visit austin.

it would be different, if i lived someplace where being cold was good.... being cold and wet in dallas just sucks.

In Texas, there are two seasons: 'hot', and 'not hot'. We're almost finished with 'not hot', or what you wussies call "winter". If you live up north, it's a different story because winter is real.

I like the summer in Texas because I can go to Big Bend and be by myself with the other buzzards and famished coyotes and beetles and a few deranged Germans.

I prefer the winters in Texas because it is dry cold in Amarillo and wet cold in Corpus and either is fine by me.

As for Dallas, I agree it sucks but it has nothing to do with weather.
