I really like the course. It is pretty hard, requiring precision on most approaches. It is generally in good condition, with speedy, contoured greens. Some tips:
HOLE 1: Pretty open fairway, I try to hit as long a drive as possible, b/c the green is surrounded by a dry ditch and trees, so I like having a wedge in.
HOLE 2: Long tough par 4. The right edge of the fwy bunker is the ideal line.
HOLE 3: Play this as a 3 shotter. Anything short or left or long of the green is FUBAR.
HOLE 4: Go up and check the landing area. I generally aim for what would be the right-center of the green.
HOLE 5: If you miss right, it will generally kick to the green.
HOLE 7: A big *****. They have mowed out some of the disaster areas, but play for targets, don't just wail away with a 3 wood.
HOLE 11: Tough hole if you can't fly the traps. Better though to be 200 out in fairway than in the bunker, don't get greedy.
HOLE 12: Careful, you can go through the fairway if you are too scared of the water. I hit 3 wood a lot here.
HOLE 13: Lay up your 2nd to 110 yards out to avoid the ditch in front.
HOLE 14: If you can fly the fwy bunker, can get on or very close to the green.
HOLE 15: Plays long, take enough club.
HOLE 16: Hate this ******* hole. Very tough to position for the 2nd shot without daring trouble.
HOLE 18: Cut the leg, easy to get there in 2. The ditch is far enough short of the green that it shouldn't come into play.
