I've seen this movie about 20 times, but lately I saw a different version that was about 20 minutes longer- I was really fired up about that.

In that version of the movie Tom Hanks is gay, which I didn't see any real signs of in the standard version that is on all the time.

Love the music and love that thing you do. Also, had a lot more about Guy's ***** of a girlfriend with the dentist, he had to be pissed in the version that was released at all the time he got cut out of.

i have a soft spot for this movie, although it really isn't something you brag about or quote with your friends. Really well done movie though.

Steve Zahn is great in it.

and believe it or not, even though you hear "that thing you do" played 100 times in the movie, it finds away not to get tiresome.

The only scene in the edited version that hints at him being gay is talking to the guy while the movie is being filmed, he seems to be flirting with the guy.
