yes, there is no reason for Kinsler to ever hit leadoff again. I'm guessing his on base percentage has to be over .500, and he might actually finish up hitting around .400.
They do appear to have some talent. Borbon did hit .307 with 25 SB for the RedHawks. With him, Cruz, Murphy, Smoak, Davis, Ramirez(I guess he is still high on their list), they do have some talent stocked up. And that doesnt include the pitching and some lower levels.
A nice embarrassment of riches in the outfield - Murphy, Cruz, Hamilton, Borbon, Byrd. What to do? Byrd is a Free Agent after the season; I'd really like to see the Rangers keep him. You can DH one of them while three play the outfield each night, but what do we do with the fifth one?
He brings such a different dynamic to this offense. Having him and Andrus hit back-to-back, reeking havoc on the base paths, then bringing up Young, Hamilton, and (now) Cruz to knock them in is damn fun to watch. Adding Smoak and (hopefully) an improved Davis next year could make this thing lethal.
