my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 months ago and after months of chemo & radiation, we got the news today that she's cancer free.

so tonight we've had champagne, and i'm BBQ'n chicken on the grill as i type.

i'm sippin on an ice cold sam adams while the kids play in the pool and i stopped by hornfans to spread my joy.

a great football season would be the icing on the cake for the 2nd half of this year. i really think the team is gonna kick ***.

I am very, very happy for your wife. Good news indeed!

I had a rare gynecological cancer last year. It did not require either chemo or radiation, as it is a non-aggressive type of cancer, but it did require a pretty unpleasant surgery.

I had my every-6-months check-up today and I, too, am cancer-free.

y'know what? I was happy earlier and just chilling out. Then I read this thread and became really happy so yay for y'all and for kicking cancers ***! Thanks for helping to make my night/morning!!!
 
Cancer is a tough SOB, happy to hear your wife kicked its ***.

I've lost a lot of friends and family members to it, but last October, my dad beat Liver cancer when he received a new Liver, I can easily relate to how elated you must be feeling right now.

God IS good. Have another Sam Adams for me and amicably hug and kiss your wife for me.
