I'm putting myself up for ridicule, but it's time for Texas to make a statement. We sweep OU this weekend. And yes, I realize how unlikely road sweeps are.

The team is desperate for confidence, and the longer we play half-*** baseball, the more likely it is that we are merely an "average" team ... which I don't buy.

Let's get some good starting pitching, leave the Barnum and Bailey infield show at the team hotel, and mash the Sooners.

We started with a nice statement today with a grand potato in the first by Kyle for a 6-0 lead but, also continued our "statement" in the bottom of the 2nd with an error at 3B and not much of a statement from Austin. 4 runs gone off the lead. 6-4 to the bot of 3rd now.
