Ever ask a man how he’s doing and he says, “ I’m alright.”

You know what? I’m here to tell you that man is not alright. That man is battling demons every day that you can’t possibly imagine. That man struggles every day to find a reason to keep going.

And the reason we say we are alright is because as a man, nobody f*****g cares what you’re going through. So why even bother to say it.

But you know what? I feel you Brother. Because I’m alright too.

Don’t worry about it gly cause some things only get tougher as you reach the elderly stage. In other words hang tough because you’re gonna need it much more later.

Nice healthy vibe on this thread
I always admired the way women can talk so easily among themselves about anything while men are often conditioned to hold everything in for fear of appearing weak - guess what, we are all weak sometimes, and also strong

I’m 69 and doing well considering these calamitous times. I’m open to help any hornfan that wants to talk too.

Well I just (literally) hit 77 and I can openly admit I have more, well sorta blah downer type days than to which I am accustomed but I generally bounce back by the next day. Not sure to what I might attribute it, except the age thing because there so frequently seems to arise a new pain source. Ha. Sounds a lot like a ‘poor’ me thread but that’s not my intend - more a general- getting old is not for sissy’s diatribe.
