Oh my gosh. I am one that has high "selfish" radar when it comes to basketball players - saw one today in Gerald Green in 4th qtr Mavs blowout. And Avery Bradley is not like that at all. The guy is a 2 who can handle the ball and go to the rack and play all kinds of defense. And with the calmest demeanor this side of Kevin Durant. This guy's got it all and the Illini need to look elsewhere for their venom.

Avery is the real deal and I'm glad we are getting him -
but I admit, I laughed when he went one-on-four a few times during the game.

He's a shooter and a playmaker - if he's hitting, I'm good with with it. Plus I'm sure Barnes will keep him in flow with the rest of the team and let him loose when necessary.
Illini fans are just being aggy.

Of all the stars I've ever seen play high school hoops, Avery is the least selfish--to a fault even. He passes WAY too often around the hoop when he should just go up and slam the ball home or take a layup. This happened in the McDonald's game a couple of times, leading to TOs. To say he's even the slightest bit selfish is utter incompetence. Also, neither D.J. Richardson or Cory Joseph would have scored half the buckets they did if Bradley were on them. It's a lot easier when you are the second and third options, respectively.

That's fine though, hopefully we can smack those Illinois idiots and their 33 points against mighty Penn State next year!

Wow...What game...no...tournament were they watching? 90% of the time Avery lets the game come to him, even the color man mentioned that....and thats a lot more than most HS stars. If you want to see selfish look across the court at Momo Jones and Tiny jacking up shots and playing lazy defense. To their credit...I think that Findlay team is an amazingly unselfish team all around and that is what makes them the best team in the nation as opposed to Oak Hill.

Illinois fans (esp. their chat board followers) are the most delusional fans in college hoops, and are regularly wrong about things.

Be happy they are trashing on your recruit.....it means he will be good.
