If you've read Augie's book...

...the initial scoring for Texas against the Gators seems classic Augie-ball. Call it how you want, but our offense gave our pitching a 3-point cushion, two more than necessary to win a game.

Just saying - let's not be so quick to jump on our offensive production.

I have my copy of the book...but haven't read it yet. Was waiting for the season to end.

You tell me we give Jungmann a 3 run lead, I say we win the game every time. Not like him at all. How many innings has he pitched this year? Is this simply a case of fatigue? I know he's gone the distance in several games this year.

Jungmann has hit the wall, no two ways to say it, he just has. I havent seen him that wild all year. The Horns still have two MLB prospects on the mound the next two games and if win those can give Taylor a shot at redemption so this thing is far from over.

Taylor and Cole both have the same number of appearances and starts with Taylor having 141 innings and Cole 104. Thats a lot of extra pitch's. Hopefully he gets a few days off and comes back strong as he has been an exceptional pitcher for UT the past 3 years.

Taylor's been lights out since the beginning of the season. This is a terrible time for a slump but they happen. He was nails the last time he was in Omaha. Cole Green struggled early on and has been looking great lately.
