No, in this case you would need a supercolider bigger than Earth, so unless the Professor forgot to carry a 1, that's probably impossible as we know it. But, who's to say technology won't reach the point where a Texas-sized collider could be the Hammer of Thor?
More likely, is the chance of CERN accidentally creating a black hole that sucks the Earth from within into the size of a baseball like what happened to Vulcan in the new Star Trek movies.
