Texas defeated A&M in College Station to win the final SWC Championship in 1995. A melee of sorts broke out after the game when some Texas fans rushed the field, where they were met by some members of the Aggie Corps.

It should also be noted that Texas broke off "athletic relations" with A&M for four years starting back in 1911 after accusations that A&M players were trying to intentionally maim Texas players.
