If UConn women lose tonite...

That phrase should not be uttered again this year...they will not lose unless they incur injuries. There is not team in America that has a shot against them.

Geno has put together a great team. They amaze me with their consistency and EXECUTION!!!

I would enjoy visiting them during practice. Well a month of practices. What is Geno doing with his team that has placed them so far ahead of the field? He understands how to put the pieces together and get the most out of his players. But he puts something in those young ladies that have them believing in themselves and his program. And they dominate team after team and never take a possession off. If I was an aspiring coach I would head to Storrs for an internship. He's doing something right and I would enjoy observing him and picking his brain apart. His team EXECUTES!!!! I bet he critiques every play and makes them perfect it 1000+ times. I keep saying repitition is the key to learning.

Here we are again another season and we're still missing cheapies under the basket every game. Are we not practicing? Are we not executing? What gives? UCONN has pretty much mastered every play, every pass, every screen, every slip, every cut, every back door, every layup. What is he doing in practice, day in and day out that has place his team a league above the others? I know, I know he has great players with great talent. We do too, TN does too, OK does too. But he knows how to make it work.

I watched the game last night but I paid careful attention to his players. They have an attitude that exudes confidence. No 2nd thought to the play which decreases errors and mistakes. They are improving leaps and bounds from their freshman to their senior year. That's what recruits are looking to achieve. Make me better so I can grow, mature and become a better player so I can go to the next level. When they look at our players not just our players but players throughout the country I bet one of the things they're wondering is this program improving their players basketball skills, IQ, defense, etc. from their freshman to their senior year?

I kind of went off on a tangent but Geno is "COACHING" and I'm just giving him his props!
