If Elected, Will Herm Cain Raise Blood Alcohol?

Will the Cainanator push to raise blood alcohol levels up to .10, from .08?

I'm thinking .08 is just too low and hurts alcohol sales at the local pizza yurt.

Also, we're limiting capitalism by having a .08 level. We can't limit capitalism like that.

What does the Tanzania Tourist Board have to do with this?

Are you making some kind of African-American Herm Cain joke?

Then that shows how much more polite the lefties are than the righties.

The "Cainanator" is a cute term, harkening to a Schwarzzenggian bravado.

There's a lot here you just don't quite get, isn't there? I could explain it to you but then what's the fun in that?

It's as if you really think your last post was on point.

i dont see the point of this entire thread. more rediculous anecdotal references from the mentally deranged left. i guess next you can bring up the example of the fictional child who will die of cancer because Cain doesnt care about obama's healthcare plan.

Anecdotal?

If we're golng to throw out big words like anecdotal, gen, we should at least know what they mean.

The Herminator lobbied against lowering the bac %s from .10 to .08, so the question now is, should he(rm) get elected, will he fight to raise those levels back to .10?

What about that is anecdotal?

This could help the economy.

You didnt post a link and although i know you are being a smart *** with this entire thread, drinkers dont stop drinking because they think their bal might be a .08 or .10. you are either a 1 or 2 drink person, a no drink person, or the person that drinks until thye feel like stoping somewhere between 3 and passing out.

I am not your link monkey, gen. You can, and should, be able to find out some of this stuff on your own.

I assume that most here are up on the facts, but you know what happens when one assumes.

You get rebuttals based on "anecdotes".

Please read above about being a link monkey.

Go out and learn your facts then come here for analysis and discussion.

Professor Perham expects you to do your homework before you come to class.

Yes, Hermie did say that drunk driving penalties needed to be stiffened. For those with a bac .10 or greater. But not for those with a .08 or .09. You don't think that makes a differece?

Herm also used the .15 number as the cutoff where most accidents occurred, right?

Which, if you're following along, seems to be in priniciple the easy way out. Keep the level at .10 while calling for tougher sentences. Seems to me the more common-sense approach would be more along the lines of lowering the bac to .08. But that's just me. I'm not all common-sense like Herm.

So, the question remains, will Herm call for raising the bac up to .10? Of course, he'd have to also toughen drunk driving laws and all.

The point here is that Herm is not an outsider, but another money-grubbing, power-sucking businessman/lobbyist now making a run at political power. But hey, nothing wrong with that. It's the blueprint of American politics. That, and either being an attorney or marrying an heiress.

perham gets goofier everyday

I'm still holding out hope he will try and defend his position that republicans wouldn't like Cain today if he had been active in civil rights.

I've been accused on this board on occasion as being a "leftie," and I'm all for raising the BAC back to .10 like it used to be.

I'm not a big fan of MADD as it exists today.
