If Baylor was competing with us in the SFLSS

That is the State Farm Lone Star Showdown. Some people think that Baylor would have won because they dominated the major sports. However we would also have now already have cinched it if it had been the Bears. We would lead 10 to 6 already. We would have already got the following points: 2 for Men and Women's Golf, 2 for Men and Women's Cross Country, 2 for Swimming and Diving, 2 for Men and Women's Indoor Track and Field and 1 each for Volleyball and Women's Tennis. The points left would be for Men and Women's Outdoor Track and Field and I feel we will get that one and the softball can go either way as they are split now at 1 win each and whoever wins the next game would get that point.

Interesting isn't it?

So in a 4 school contest for the Texas State Championship who would win, Texas, Tech, TCU and Baylor? I guess we can't use TCU this year.

Match up each school in said events and you get a point for each win against an individual school.

We would have the 10 points against Baylor + how many points against Tech? Then do that for the other teams and we have a State Champion!!!!

The only one we could use would be Texas Tech and we would have beat them handily. Right now we would have them at 15 1/2 to 1 1/2 with the only Bear points being 1/2 for Women's Basketball and 1 point for soccer.

I would think that the final score would be 17 1/2 to 1 1/2 since the only sports' left are Men and Women's Outdoor Track and Field and I would expect to get those points against TT.

Re-figure it Bill!

If your going to count S&D, sports BU does not have, you better include equestrian. Seriously, you would count neither, therfore your score is 8-6. And, BU beat our women in tennis in the dual meet didnt they? Score is now 7-7. AND IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING 7-7 vs. BU is crazy unacceptable.

They have one softball win in our ongoing play, baseball to come.

I didn't realize that Baylor didn't have a swimming and diving team and maybe Texas Tech doesn't either. Since Baylor doesn't have those sports then there is not enough so they are DISQUALIFIED AND TEXAS WINS!

Just kidding.

OK I double checked and they compete with us in 17 sports which means it would take 9 points to win it. Current it would be UT 8 Baylor 7 with 3 points outstanding.
UT would have won the following points: 2 in Cross Country, 2 in Golf, 2 in Indoor Track and Field, 1 in Volleyball and 1 Women's Tennis. That totals 8 with UT needed 1 point to win it.
Baylor has 6 points with 2 being in Basketball, 1 in Women's Tennis, 1 in Softball, 1 in Football and 1 in Soccer.

The three events to be decided soon are Baseball which I give Baylor the edge. The other two are Outdoor Track and Field and I think UT will sweep them in both Men and Women's competition. UT only needs one point and I am sure they will get at least one if not two of the three.
What hurt the Bears is that they barely lost 4-3 to our Women's Tennis Team and lost by one stroke to our Women's Golf team. Whew!

We have to wait and see of course. Thanks for the corrections to me but I feel we would have won this cup against Baylor which is nonexistant of course.

What have we come to that we are comparing head to head with Baylor?

Maybe the Mayans were right after all.

We are ahead of the Mayans in the North and South American Lone Star Showdown, 9 1/2 to 5 1/2, which is good because the losers get executed at the conclusion of the game.

Now we have done it, Nostradamus predicted in his
final quatrain that the world would end when the
Mayans joined a confederation of the southeast
in the new land.

You know those Mayans will follow Aggy and
Missouri now after the butt whippings we have
given them in the NSALSS since it's
inception,

The SEC has been looking for years to expand
into the "very deep southern market." If they
can overlook the strange traditions of Aggy then
they should have little trouble with the Mayans quirks such as post game
executions.

The good news is lots of Aggy gonna die after
their games with the University of Mayan or as Aggy calls them "mu." Aggy also calls them d-sips.
(d=doomsday)

This could be the new rival for Aggy. I mean
what is more arrogant than saying when the
world will end?

"Saw mu's calendars off" yada, yada, yada.
"mu's calendars are sawed off" yada, yada, yada.
"mu's calendars are sawed off, Short!

The end is indeed near if this happens.

A correction in that before today the softball point was not decided because the teams had split and therefore the point was not decided until today. I had given this point to Baylor so the score would have been 8 to 6. Baylor got baseball which makes it 8 to 7 but today we would have taken the softball and both Outdoor Track and Field points which would make the final score UT 11 Baylor 7.
