If anyone is interested...

Pretty interesting, watching two teams that the Horns will match up with.

ASU doesn't seem to have the speed to handle the Horn guards. And Texas has the numbers, speed and quickness to negate OU's guards. ASU is doing a pretty good job collapsing on Courtney every time she gets the ball inside. She's not getting many easy looks and has lost the ball at least twice to ASU's defense.
 
from what i read chattanooga was inbounding the ball with a few seconds left, down by 1, and they called a timeout...except they didn't have a time out left. tennesee closed it out with the technical foul free throws. must be frustrating to lose the game like that.

Looks like the LVs lucked out.

OU and ASU are running a lot but hitting few this second half.
 
Sooners are just about to close a good win for them and for the Big 12 over ASU. They could'nt quite put ASU away but kept them at arm's length.

I think the Horns will be able to take both teams. Of course, they will probably improve by the team that we actually play them.
 
OU kept letting ASU get back into the game. lots of turnovers and so-so defense. this is the 2nd OU game i've watched this year, and i have to say, i thought whitney hand would be playing a lot better...considering the way sherri talked her up in preseason.
 
Hand is a freshman - she will play better and then she will play worse - throughout the season. I think she is a really good player and will help them alot as she gets seasoned!
 
very true, she is a freshman and it's still early. that's just my initial reaction. she's a smart player, handles herself well on the court. i guess i expect more bc she's starting. once she starts knocking down 3s they will be very tough inside and out.
 
We all remember what it was like when our group was a bunch of wide-eyed freshmen...ahhh...the growing pains that Tennessee is going to go through. I bet that Pat is loving every minute of trying to teach that group the game the way it should be played. I would not want to face them come tournament time.
