Per debate performance. Just the body language. Maybe he would rather be a proper daddy and write a book, have an academic career, or maybe a cush lecture tour. He might be tired of it.
 
Perhaps, Sangre, but the Republicans offered us John McCain and Sarah Palin.

That was the extent of our choice in 2008.

And y'all wonder why I can't stand either of the two parties in Washington.
 
I wonder if he even has a heart? Perhaps he shouldn't over extent himself again, and his old buddy Bill Ayres isn't going to write another book for him. He is too lazy to work. He throws like a girl, his golf game can't be that good. I know, I know he'd make a great community organizer.
 
I know what I'm about to say will make a few lefties butthurt and they will start crying but I believe this. Obama is lazy!!! Yes I said it. I know he's not lazy like the typical average citizen but as far as the standards that it takes to be President, HE'S LAZY. He plays golf all the time. Goes on lavished vacations. He attends only about half the intel meetings. Hasn't meet with his job council since last Jan when we've had super high unemployment. He won't meet with world leaders so he can go on TV shows. He parties with the hollywood elite.

I know you are going to say Bush took more vacations which simply isn't true. Bush had his other office at his ranch and the left likes to call that a vacation. Bush never missed an intel meeting. The only work Obama does really is campaigning which is something he loves to do. According to the left Obama didn't prepare for the debate. That's just flatout lazy. Again, I'm talking about him being lazy for what is needed to be a president. He refuses to even meet with the right side on serious issues that need to be addressed. He's just wants to limelight of being President without putting in the work needed to hold that position.
 
Basing Obama's heart on the debate would be misleading. Obama did not have a script to read. I'm sure it was disheartening to him to come up with a good answer on his own. Impromptu acting is not his long suit. Let's face it, Obama without a script is less impressive than W was with a script. Being handicapped, Obama should be allowed two speech writers with him at the podium.

If nose to the grindstone is the Answer than Jimmy Carter would be the Best President Ever, especially as compared to Reagan, who worked the hours required but delegated and had confidence in folks he was delegating to. Hell, Reagan even let David Stockman handle his economic understanding.

The issue of Obama spending a lot of effort excelling at golf and basketball as opposed to doing the debate drugery is pretty well spot on though. If I was hiring the president and looking through resumes, he wouldn't get a second interview. But what we got is a political process and we gotta choose from what's left, not what's best.
 
BO admitted in an interview that he is lazy. He was elected as the first black president, won the Nobel Peace Prize, passed HCR - what is left?? Instead of reading intel reports he has spent more time trying to spin the terrorist attack into a "blip" in the road because of a movie. We only know that he is "brilliant" because the MSM told us. They have no facts to back that assertion up. He told us he screwed around in high school and used drugs, but was able to get into prestigious schools. But we dare not question this because that makes us racists.

On an aside, Fox interviewed college students from George Washington U and most thought it was unfair that he did not get to use a Teleprompter Wed. night. If these are the leaders of tomorrow, we are more doomed more than I thought.
 
Once thing is clear. Hookem123 is likely one of the worst posters this board has ever seen. I would put him right up there with since73 (wherever he disappeared to).
