Where should I go ?

Only place I've ever really had it in Austin is the Chili Parlor. Any other places worth mentioning ?

TCP is the only one worth a damn, and it is spectacular. I get one scopp XX and one scoop XXX and mix it up. They will tell you they cannot do it, and ***** but tell the to STFU and go make it that way. They always end up doing it.

But none of those chili places use beans. Chili needs beans to be good.

You'll get plenty of beans at Steak and Shake. They'll even put their chili on top of spaghetti for you.

I've only eaten at TCP once, and it was disgusting. Chili's is edible, but nothing special. Some of the best restaurant chili I've had is actually from Jason's Deli. Try it next time you need a fix.

Ironworks has good chili, but they used to only serve it in the fall/winter. Not sure if they've changed that
