When the schedule came out I made a deal with my GF that I would do stuff with her kids and everything as long as I had thursday night free to go to a bar and watch the elimination game. This was the day we got the schedule. She was okay with that.
Later that night she asked about friday night. I said "Woman! Don't jinx it.I'm going out Thursday."
After the SMiss game she asked again. I told again, I would not tempt fate.
After ASU went up 6-0 nothing last night. She was like "Wow, I guess you were right." I told her to wait until the end. She asked if I would change to Friday if they win. No way in hell...
So, now my one night free of kids for the forseeable future is going to be used to watch ASU/NC...
I just hope she understands that not going to a bar with friends to watch the game doesn't equal not staying home with beer and inviting said friends over Friday night....Children be damned (j/k on that part)
