I think I must say no to fat burners

I just took two (recommended dosage of 3) Hydroxycut 6 pills and my heart is racing. My mood is both elevated and I'm depressed if that makes sense. I'm hungry, but I don't want to eat either. I have alot of energy, but I don't want to get out of the house.


Maybe it's the end of the holiday break that's effecting my mood too.

When I was in high school I took an ECA stack (ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin) and it was the only time in my life I was scared that I was on the verge of death. I could feel my heart pumping in every appendage of my body. Never took another one.

Rama dude, seriously, be careful with this **** and other substances. I may be out of line here but it seems like you are pushing too hard for shortcuts and maybe taking risks without needing to. Relax and just eat right with sensible exercise. It may take a month or two to get what you want but it will be done safer and with longer lasting results. Just sayin'.

I think you're right. I will finish this bottle and be done. Working otu has been great. You don't see results overnight, but looking in the mirror, I look alot better than I did 4 months ago.

All you need to do is take a box of exlax a day, and you'll be fit and trim in no time at all.

No can do, buddy. I am off for a month with pay. Only thing I am driving is my bike and sometimes my dog for a ride.

I also suggest staying off the deceptive scale, it is useless unless you are prepping for a fight. It is not how much you weigh, only how you feel and how you look that matters. Scales can be very counterproductive.

Hydroxycut no longer has ephedra. They were on of the major companies to be sued.

But, it has a lot of caffiene and a compound related to ephedra call synephrine (most commonly known bitter orange extract). For most, it does not produce as strong of an effect as ephedra and does not last at long. But for those who have never tried it, it can still produce a pretty strong stimulant effect.

I'm surprised more people haven't died when taking this stuff, it is terrible, i took one back when it still had ephedra in it just because my maw in law was doing it to stay lean. I was already lean i just wanted to see what this stuff did, i too thought i was on the verge of death with just one pill!!! I'm positive that had I worked out while i was on it that I would have died, no doubt in my mind.

I tried some type of pill a few years back and had similar experiences. I took it at work and then went out to dinner with friends...felt like I was on some type of drug. Made me really anxious to get the **** out.

After that first one it calmed down though.

I admit i did take ephedra products while in school to help me cram the night before tests. I agree with the previous poster that after the first one you calm down a lot.
I honestly believe they help me pass more than a few exams, but i wouldnt use them again because it sent my Blood pressure thru the roof.

Actually you can still find ephedra at almost any drugstore sold with asthma as an indication. Primatene tablets still contain ephedra.

i took the fat burners they sell at 24 hour fitness a few years ago...my heart raced and all that stuff, and on top of that, they really screwed around with my mood. i'd want to run through a wall one minute, and curl into a ball an hour later. scared the hell out of me. i will never take any of that crap again.

- jogging
- aerobic dancing
- swimming
- walking up stairs
- rollerblading
- cross country skiing
- treading water
- jumping jacks
- jumping rope
- brisk walking

I just had a cousin admitted to the looney bin for observation because she thinks the world has ended. She's been taking fat burners with ephedra to stay awake for school and weight loss. Yeah she hadn't really slept in a few weeks.

I used the Xenadrine formula back in the day and it was great. I never used the full recommended doseage. Always cut it in half but damn I could run forever on that stuff.
