Derrick Williams appears to be the unanimous #2 pick at this point. I think he may have some issues on defense, assuming they move him to the 3. He is used to guarding 4s, but he probably lacks the size to be able to defend 4s at this level. He is going to have to learn to guard NBA 3s, which will be a new world. Still, he's pretty quick for his size and has a good motor. Eventhough they beat us, I thought we defended him well. Despite the loss, it's hard not to like the guy.

As far as TT goes, there seems to be a pretty wide range where he could fall. All its takes is one team to love you to go high like that. Or one suprise pick to throw the whole scheme on it's side.

While it is not top heavy with a core of stars like some drafts, I still like this pool and see lots of interesting players out there. And, although I am not a Spurs fan, I always find it interesting to watch their draft day strategies as they are able to pull rabbits out of hats as much as anyone.

I heard Jon Feigen of the HouChron on the radio yesterday, and he said TT was one of the guys who seem to be currently moving up on teams' boards. We'll know soon enough. I just hope he ends up in a good spot for him and could care less of the actual position in the draft.

90 Grad, I'd say you're a better Mock Drafter than the pros, unless you are one! I think Cavs made a great pick. Tristan along with Irvng should provide quite a spark for them...though when you think about who went 1 and 4 in previous years they may feel a little shortchanged.

Good grief. Looks like Caron Butler, but went to Texas for 4 years and is from Angleton Texas. LOL!

Congrats to Tristan. Will be nice to play for a motivated owner that is out to prove something.

Hate to see Hamilton sliding. Thought he would be gone by 15. Maybe the Wiz will take him at 18. They need a good SG.

Dang, any word on why Hamilton is dropping like a rock? Selfishly, I would love for him to fall to the Mavs. Can't believe some of those teams passed on him.

I'm surprised, but only because I barely followed NBA draft news and just assumed Thompson was a borderline lottery pick the moment he declared.

Stat, Glen Davis was drafted with the 35th overall pick in the second round one year after Alridge was taken second overall. Were there really a good number of people who thought Davis was going to be a better pro than Alridge?

I should have been clearer in my first post. After watching the Arizona-Texas game it's hard to imagine a ranking that had Thompson as a better player than Derrick Williams. But then I remembered the LSU-Texas game when Davis just destroyed Aldridge.
