With my Tech grad co-worker. So come Monday either I'll be wearing a Tech shirt, or she'll be wearing a Longhorn shirt. Mondays are college t-shirt day at our school (we're teachers), so everyone will notice, especially if I'm in black and red.

Cross your fingers and pray for me!

I suggest you go ahead and purchase her a lovely Burnt Orange shirt tomorrow and take it to school on Friday.

If you should have to wear black on Monday, "decorate" you shirt with things like alltime record against each other, number of conference championships, etc. If you are forced to do that, you should also buy tortillas, take them to her classroom, and start a frisbee competition with her kids.

She cheated and wore a jacket over it all day!! But that's ok, I wore my beautiful long-sleeved, burnt orange "Texas Teacher" shirt and got so many compliments on it.

I've also taught my OTHER tech grad colleague's daughter, who is in kindergarten, how to do the Hook 'Em sign. I consider that one of the best lessons I've ever taught in my 9 years of teaching.
