I fully realize that I might deserve to get banned for saying this but... I went to all three game this weekend, and I had so much more fun in College Station that I'd prefer that all three games be played there next season.
1. It's much easier to park and get out of the area after the game.
2. The whole crowd experience is better. Friday night, about 25% of the seats were empty. The only time people clapped was when they played that stupid "Every-body clap your hands" crap. It was like being at an Express game, complete with the PA guy we imported from Round Rock. (*) At Olsen, most of the seats seemed to be full, and the crowd was really into the game. IT WAS FUN.
3. We kick their asses there, always. More Aggie misery, live and in living color.
(*) I am so fkn sick of the in-game promotions at the Disch. Why do they hand pizza coupons and movie tickets to the people who are being the most spastic BETWEEN innings? Why don't they reward people who are standing up and cheering DURING the game? (Disclaimer: My daughter's friend got a pizza box for being one of "the loudest and craziest fans," and he didn't pay a bit of attention to the actual game.) And why does the Fan Cam show the back of the head of someone having a conversation? Sorry, but A&M's athletic department kills us at in-game experience.
