He is open, the phone issue is resolved, as mentioned in another post. It is back to the original number, 512-236-0283 (0 Cue).

He and I discussed how we could do a lunch time gathering. Also, however, we discussed maybe a happy hour. What I am thinking is that for maybe one of the bowl games upcoming.idea, idea, anybody? He would stay open later for us. We grub the hell out of some amazing food, and have beer.

The beer would be on a tips basis and keg provided. It does not get better than that, does it? So maybe in addition to the work crew at a lunchtime...we get together after work, eat and drink. Shoot the ****, watch some football and help a great man stay on his feet and our tummy's happy.

To paraphrase him, He is going to make it. It is in how he was brought up and the person he is. HE WILL MAKE IT. I like to think that we can be a part of that. We benefit too in the end. So let's keep the cue in Austin. F the imposters. ( the last two lines were me, not him)

I will be keeping up with this to see when we should do this. I know Crayon is down with the idea. Also, he said if you have any questions whatsoever, call him and speak only to him. He is willing to answer anything in person to clear any confusions that may exist.

Also, he had a thanks to hos landlord for being so helpful and patient. Props, Sua.
 
Hell yeah, good to hear the news and the attitude.

What was discussed about a lunchtime gathering? If we picked a date, we could publicize the hell out of it on this (and other) boards. And of course, I would encourage everyone to bring someone who is a JM BBQ virgin, to expose the goodness to more folks.

As for happy hours, WOW the afternoon bowl games are crappy (the EMERALD bowl???), but that's not really the point, is it? The holidays are coming up, so we'd probably do best to avoid right around Xmas, but maybe that week between Xmas and New Years? That's always kind of slow for most folks at work, so we could rationalize having a few cold beers and washing them down with some cue for dinner.

His beef short ribs are one of the greatest single foods on this planet. They make me weep.
 
I am thiniking that Monday is a good day to meet up for lunch. We can then look at the upcoming bowl games and as you said, wash some beers down with some good food. It would be nice to have the mid day lunch wholesome thing with a JM virgin (great idea) and tell all we can. But the idea of a post work eat and drink happy hour thing is fun too.

Sorry. Got a bit excited. Monday should work for me. I should be able to drag a few folks from work with me (believe it or not, there are attorneys in this town who have NOT eaten at JM).
 
Box of 64, don't forget that if you can, brang yo a Muellers virgin. They will thank you for being their ambassador of cue. No girls that shower obsessively though, thanks.
