For an honest to goodness review, maybe Quacks is the place. Discussions on scotch and beer used to go there (if my alcohol riddled brain remembers correctly). It's not for drunken assholery, but a true review, open for discussion, seems to be fitting there.
Hale's Moss Bay Extra: This is their answer to a British bitter. Really dark brown in color without being too stout or porter like. Malty flavor and a little bit citrusy. I liked it but it was hard having more than one or two at a time. By my third, I was feeling full.
Hale's Drawbridge Blond: This used to be a summer seasonal of theirs. I had one a couple of years ago when I was passing through Seattle. Pours a nice golden color. Pretty bland for a former seasonal. I was expecting something with a but more flavor but this was boring and a little bitter.
Neither holds up to their Summer Kolsch that I had a few days ago.
