I Hate This Team ...

There is no limit to what this team can do when they show up ready to play. We have the talent to put the pieces together down the stretch. There is no doubt. It's not too late.

I can't imagine the confidence that this one game could inject into the team ... especially after winning a series in Manhattan.

Ruffin has shown as an Ace ... Russell is back, scary as ever ... Torres is red-hot ... Clark looks to be the answer at 3rd ... Stayton and Green are coming on ... now Kasparek is heating up.

Baylor is THE measuring stick. If we can get 2 of 3 this weekend, I'll be pumped up as hell. Can't wait to make the drive to Waco Friday afternoon !!!

Please don't let tonight be the next tease in a season full of them.

Congratulations Big Bird.

OK, folks. We NEED to take an inventory of what everyone did to score this win. I mean besides Kenn's pitching, crisp defense and clutch hitting.

My contribution was starting the game w a cold Shiner Bock!

Beat the HELL outta Baylor!

Very inconsistent, but typically inconsistency due to youth, which I attribute to this team, just needs something to bring them together. The recent events just may do it.

"Losing is a disease."

I believe this is the first report from a team member of "turning the corner." At least it's the first I've read from a non-poster.

Before the game I had my vial of dirt from last year that UFCU gave away and blessed the stadium.

I also chewed the whole piece of gum the whole game even though I was wanting to get rid of it in the 5th inning.

I do like NebLHAB's suggestion that maybe we should all start the games with a cold Shiner.

I would rather do that than chew the same piece of gum for the whole game.
