Right now, we need as many offensive linemen as we can get. We have a good crop of DE's in this years class as well as on campus right now. Mario Edwards would be nice but, at this point, I'd rather have one or two more quality offensive linemen.

The original post was simply a poor attempt to humorize the similar situation of Edwards and Peterson, coming as our guest just to see us exposed and embarrassed, which led to a rash decision of eliminating Texas and choosing ou entirely because on that day they looked like a team he can win a mnc with and we looked like crap. Westerman probably fell in love with Texas when we looked really hot, and fell out of love when we went out in public wearing a thong after we put on 75lbs of really bad weight

I think that every recruit these days is looking through 2011 glasses. That great 2005 year and impressive win streak over OU that is etched in the memories of every Texas fan, means zero when compared to Texas giving OU 21 points, allowing their D to blow up the Texas backfield before the play even developed, and the obvious dominance of their team over ours.

There was no recruit sitting there thinking, yea they play like crap in 2011 but 6 years ago they beat everyone and therefore I want to attend Texas.

Father, proximity and upcoming release from prison. If you recall he asked for and I believe granted permission to travel to games. I don't know if that would be given to somewhere much further away. There was not money involved or shenanigans as much as we know OU would be okay with that.

However, ask Adrian about a Mercedes. It was an older one but ask about it. This is different than the Lexus test drive for a couple of months.
