I feel like a kid at Christmas

I almost can't keep still or keep a thought in my head! I'm wearing my Texas Rangers John Wetteland authentic jersey at work today, with my gold-and-onyx Rangers pendant and a red, white and blue baseball bracelet.

I am so excited -- and I don't even get to watch the game tonight! I have to teach English, and I can't cancel my class, either. Class ends at 9 p.m., so I might be able to catch an inning or two. I will be monitoring via iPhone, but only on breaks. (If I won't let my students keep their phones on in class, I can't, either!)

So, my fellow zealots, y'all had better be tuned in and working hard to help bring the good guys a win!

Hi, Texanne,
I also teach tonight, so I won't be able to watch. However, I am happy to report that Mrs. HHD, who used to tolerate my passion for baseball, has herself become a Ranger zealot this season. She will be watching - and I set the recorder so I can watch it later.

I will be keeping my grandchildren overnight on Saturday so Rob and Erin can enjoy adult company uhfettered for the evening. This will be a good opportunity for my 4-year-old granddaughter to learn about sharing - she won't get to watch her Care Bears video on Saturday evening, so Grandma and Grandpa can watch the Rangers!

Working in home office with my 12" Charlie Brown with his Rangers Cap Pez Dispenser here...wearing my blue Laynce Nix t-shirt, but washed my red Andrus #1 shirt for wearing tonight...since I wore it to the Game 6 clincher.

That game was so disappointing, and I'm not even a big fan. I just wanted to see the promised great pitching match-up. Oh well, maybe the Rangers hadn't come back to earth from beating the Yankees. Hopefully, they will have their heads screwed on straight tonight.
