I don't understand kids and their slang anymore

So I just overheard some kids talking about a girl, and they referred to her as having been "scooped". I could tell my their reactions that it was something dirty, but I can't figure out what they mean.

Slang dictionary online said it can mean "picked up" or "hit on", but that's not what these kids were implying.

any ideas?

My first thought was that "scooped" refered to "two scoops of raisins in the package of Kellogg's Raisin Bran".

So my immediate thought was that it was a new term for finger cuffs.

A teacher who has a 8th grade daughter let me in on what these kids thinking "scooping" is.

Think Body "Shot", aiming at the belly button

Sometimes I'm glad I work w/ the disturbed kids who don't have any friends.

Two years ago, I was the pres of the soccer booster club at my daughter's high school. Large high school with about 2,800 kids. I got a phone call from the secretary telling me that all of the senior boys in their group picture (with the senior girls) were flashing a hand sign but she wasn't sure what it was and neither was the photographer. They sent me the pic and all of those little ******* were flashing the 'shocker' sign. By the time I got this picture, they had already taken the team photos. I explained to the booster club secretary (who had a sr. boy in the pic) what the shocker sign meant and told her that surely they had better sense than to pull that **** it the official team photo.

Well, we get the proofs back that next day and sure as ****, every ******* boy on the varsity team was flashing the shocker sign. We talked to the coach and told him the deal. He made every one of those boys go to their mother and tell them what they did and what it meant. The mom then had to call the coach and explain to him what a 'shocker' was.

We had the team pictures remade and made the kids pay for the photographer's time and they also had to apologize to her. We also photoshopped the sr. pic to get rid of the hand signs.

The boys were surprised that I knew what the sign meant. Stupid *******.

Watch out for "high speed dsl" too...kids at the high school I teach at are using that for ***** now.

And then instead of everything being "that's gay"...it is now "that's jewish"

I am officially old as well, because I have hardly any idea what any of these terms means. You talked about 'shocker' and what is means. I have no idea. I haven't even heard the term much less what it means.

Go to wikipedia and type shocker (hand gesture).

On a side note, it is probably a misnomer at this point. Chicks probably aren't shocked anymore. It is more likely becoming old school.

Ghost:
It was probably a little of both. We had to have a listening party to the CD the little ******* made for pregame warm up. Hard to keep the HS AD off your *** when the first song was TI's "Bring Em Out" (Its hard to yell when the barrels in ya mouth).

Baboso, Our conversation took place over a ton a drinks one night at Stoney River, so all was good, other than getting me all hot-n-bothered. She was HOT. She told me more than one boy told her she was a MILF. About 5 years ago, one kid even asked her out on a date.

Oh, I forgot to add that my daughter was a senior that year. I asked her what the sign meant and she came up with same lame-*** explanation. I called ******** on her. She said "That is what the boys told me it meant". I didn't believe her until I was going through some pics that someone took that day and there were a couple of her and another girl flashing the Shocker sign. I know those guys were laughing their *** off about that. Horny little *******.

ok, so my computer is on the fritz and so I got on my wife's computer. She went to U of H and her homepage is the U of H page. There is a girl on the main page throwing down the U of H sign, and having just learned what 'the shocker' is, I realise they are almost identical and so I saw it and was like 'WHAT IS THAT GIRL DOING?"
