Does anyone give a **** this year? I guess now that the French and rest of Europe have made this year's event "pure and free" of performance enhancing drugs there will be a True Champion.

I did know the Tour was going on but I didn't realize the British Open started today in golf. Without Tiger Golf is going to struggle big time.

I wonder if it has come up or if he has been asked to do analysis for tournaments. What club would he play, comment on the good play of others, in depth on the course and what goes through the mind of a player in the weather, affects of too much water, differences of rough and the cut of it, etc...

Things like club selection, pros/cons of them would be awesome. It is one thing to hear other analysts give it or to watch a program on The Golf Channel. But to have Tiger's insight would be awesome and a chance for him to be around the game still but have time for the family as well since he does not have to hit the practice ranges.

It would not be a "I am great" type thing, just his input.

Loop, I agree completely. I'd be surprised if a network exec or seven hasn't brought that up. Clearly, tiger isn't there so it didn't happen, but it makes too much sense not to at least have asked him.
