I can't get to Hornfans with Firefox

Which means I have to use *GACK* IE to get here...

I get a dialog that says:

"firefox.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created."

And firefox sends an incident report to Mozilla.org.



Anyone have any ideas or suggestions, other than switching to Opera or whatever?

Strange- I'm on w/ FF ver 1.04 right now. No problems.

Yeah, I'm on 1.0.4 also, and have never had any problems until the last couple of days.

I think I'm going to uninstall and reinstall it. Maybe something's gotten messsed up...

i had some really ****** firefox problems awhile back that nearly brought me to tears. well, ok, maybe not but it sucked. reinstalling worked then too.

Yeah, sometimes you just have to burninate the program and start all over. Mine is letting popups through right now, even with adblock on, and I'm about to burninate the **** outta that sonofabitch.

Do you use Filterset G on your Adblock?

That's an excellent question. Unfortunately (for multiple reasons) I'm at work right now, where I am using popup-free Safari. I'll have to check when I get home. I've run through multiple settings, though. It just started letting through the ocassional ad a few weeks ago, and I've been too lazy to reinstall.

G's not a setting...it's a filter set you can get here:The Link

Sweet. I've never imported a list. I just appended G to what I already had.

Remember to follow the Advanced User and the Appending Filters directions on the instructions.txt file next time you add an updated G filter, otherwise you may lose your filters in the process.

You might be surprised how much crap G gets just by itself.
