I AM OFFICIALLY AN EMPTY NESTER

My son is reporting to UT tomorrow for summer school. He will be staying at Dobie. I am so excited. I will be following him down there tomorrow morning to help him move, and stay the night and then come back home. He will officially be on his own.......with our money.

I expect my hornfan buddies to keep an eye on him and when you see him with 3 women, don't bother telling me. I already know who they are.

Well, my youngest is 16. His three older siblings have all finished college and started their own carrers. Within the last year, two of them have come back home. Both with spouse and baby in tow!

i met his roommate - he is from honduras - and failed last semester due to partying too much!

Empty nesting sucks. My heart aches. I know it's "the way it's supposed to be", but geeze, I'll miss the boy come August.

It sucks bad. I am feeling that empty feeling and it's only been 4 days.

On a good note though, I am leaving for Hawaii in two weeks.
