I flew out to LA just for the show. I don't have tickets yet, and they are selling for $250 each minimum. But I will gladly pay the friendly scalpers for the opportunity to see them play "The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner" for the first time since 1987.

I'm also having In 'N Out for lunch.

My first concert was Iron Maiden and the Scorpions in Beaumont, circa '79. Maiden played first and then the Scorpions' singer got nailed in the head by a whiskey bottle, cussed everybody in German, and left. Good times.

Fantastic show and hope they return to the US during the summer. The last couple of years with Priest & VH on the road have been great. Now if we can just AC/DC back out there.

Please post a review. I think they are doing the entire Live After Death show, no?
 
I'm going to the Mexico City show this Sunday... holy crap I just realized that it's been 17 years since I saw them at the Summit. UP THE IRONS!!!!

still my fav band...although out of the new stuff the Avenged Sevenfold kix ***. Last saw them in 2000 at Sunken Gardens in SA. Up the Irons and let us know how Eddie comes out when he does!

I have to admit that I've never been a fan. Don't know why.

However, my 17-year old about to graduate from high school son is planning a trip to London with a buddy to see them this summer.

Wish I was there.......

Haven't seen them since the Brave New World tour with Halford. Bruce can't hit the high notes as well as he used to, but it was awesome all the same.
 
I would love to have seen Saxon play! Denim AND Leather, 20,000 Feet and my fave, Princess of the Night...man.

Fastball, ha! Saw them with Twisted Sister, Y&T and Dokken. In fact, saw 'em twice. Go ahead and Say What You Will.

Killers would enthrall me to hear live.
 
Got a decent seat for $150 outside. 20 minutes till showtime!! Damn, haven't been in the Forum since I saw Journey & Bryan Adams back in '83. It is so TINY compared to today's arenas.

Speaking of Journey, they just played "Don't Stop Believin" over the PA and the crowd SANG ALONG. Bizarre.

The big news is that Bruce told the crowd they'd be back in LA for 2 shows in May due to the high ticket demand. He also informed us that they would be playing SAN ANTONIO and HOUSTON in May as well!!!! Hell yeah!!!

Time to deal with traffic. Up the irons!
