Hypothetically speaking, if one was to be drug tested and needed to disguise or remove evidence of having smoked marijuana, what could one do?Again hypothetically is anyone aware of a means or strategy or product that can cleanse one of canabis?

Most "smoke" shops sell detox kits that can supposedly hide evidence of your penchant for the bud. Personally I think there is a time and place for everything, and that is college. So unless this is your first post-college job which requires a drug screening, I suggest you stop smoking out and abide by the laws of the land.

And yes, I'll get off my soap box now.

Actually Sessamoid, I don't give a rats *** whether people smoke pot or not. What they do is their own business as long as it doesn't jeopardize my interests. Personally I think the laws are too strict on pot. However, if my employer is testing me every so often, and a positive drug test results in termination, then you bet your *** I'm not gonna do drugs.

I actually thought about editing my initial post. It wasn't really about the law. It's about personal responsibility. Sorry if your panties got all wadded up.

I'm sure some of the stoners here will jump on me because this contradicts the ads in High Times, but nothing will remove evidence of having smoked marijuana. The best you can do is dilute your urine to the point where the ratio of cannaboids to liquid is too low to measure.

The easiest way to do this is by drinking a bunch of water the day of the test. However, the specific gravity of your urine is checked, and one of the possible results for a urine test is "Negative-Dilute," which means the test came back negative but the urine was too diluted to find anything. For pre-employment drug screens at many corporations, this is as good as a positive and it could result in you not getting the job. Once you're employed, if you get this result, they'll ship your happy *** back to the testing facility to get a new test as soon as they get the dilute result.

The best way to dilute your urine without it appearing to be diluted is to buy that crap they sell at head shops and High Times. You drink the stuff in the bottle and wash it down with a bunch of water. Your urine is diluted, but the bottle has 3,500% of your RDA of various vitamins and minerals (that's the real percentage). So, when you piss, you piss out all the water along with the vitamins and minerals, hopefully giving your urine a high enough specific gravity that they won't declare it diluted. You'll know it's working because when you piss, it'll smell like a GNC.

As for how long cannaboids are detectable in your system, that's anyone's guess. THC is fat soluble, so it's dependent in part on how fat you are. The companies that make stuff to beat the test want you to believe it's 30 days so you'll get paranoid and buy their stuff. The War on Drugs people say the same thing because they want people to stay away from the gateway drug. Realistically, it's probably 5-15 days, depending on how much and often you smoke, and whether you've got some killer **** or dirtweed.
