Hypocrites in Congress

It was stupid for Rick Fairy to refuse to debate Bill White because he wouldn't release his returns, and it's stupid for people to throw a fit about Romney not releasing his.

I hope this stupid precedent ends. If someone wants to run for office, there's no reason why he should lose all rights to financial privacy. These members of Congress shouldn't have to release theirs either, but they're full of crap ripping Romney for not doing so. Hypocritical sacks of sh*t.
 
If you want to run for national office, we should have a national standard of required discloser. My recommendation is:

Proof of citizenship (2 forms)
Proof of Natural Birth in the United States (presidential requirement)
Medical history
College transcripts

The bottom line is that we should have an agreed-upon standard that everyone has to meet. I recommend that these be certified by the Supreme Court.
 
Understood. I guess my point of view is, make it the law or don't bring it up. Some would rather keep it as a point for pontificating I suppose.
 
Congress does not want to release their returns because then the American people will find out how much they are profiting from insider information. That is what they need to fix.
