Well, fellow Rangers zealots,
Here we are in the middle of July, with the Rangers holding onto first place in the AL West - with a five-game lead over the Anaheim Angels, and a HUGE four-game series at The Ballpark this weekend. A sweep would be terrific, but three of four would be perfectly acceptable, and would stretch the lead to seven games. Wash has set up the pitching matchups he wanted for this series. Looks like Lee against Weaver tonight, Saunders and C.J. Friday, Santrana and Feldman Saturday, and O'Sullivan and Hunter on Sunday. I'm losing confidence in Feldman, but the rest of those matchups look reasonable and should give the Rangers good chances for the win.
Let's hope the stands are full and loud!
