Huckabee takes WV with help from Ron Paul

As I understand it:
West Virginia's caucus eliminated Ron Paul in it's first round of voting.

As the second round begins, it looks like Romney will take the 50% required to win.

McCain's people vote for Huck, in order to spoil a Romney win.

Dr. Paul's 10% make a deal with Huck to put him over the top and take the win, in exchange for 3 national convention delegates.

So, Huck takes the state, but RP got a few delegates too.

Reports from Maine indicate that RP got 35% of delegates (2nd place finish). This makes 4 second place finishes so far (including Nevada and Louisiana - where he may actually have won).

Aside from the Ron Paul angle - this is a HUGE loss for Romney. He was expected to win this "convention." Rush Limbaugh takes one on the chin.

The headline should be:

"Romney (and Rush) Outsmarted by West Virginians"

I am hoping Paul takes Texas and any number of other states so as to rack up some delegates. The Republican convention would actually be entertaining television were that to happen.
