HS Regional Finals

Just returned from #1 Moody defeating #2 Calallen 6-3. There were over 9000 fans at Whataburger Field. Game 2 tomorrow and then off to Austin for the Super Regionals. Life is good.

i was there, too. Can't believe there were 9,000 fans for a high school baseball game. Unreal. Wasn't rooting for either team, just went to see some good baseball. Game actually wasn't that good (lots of errors), but the atmosphere was unreal. People camped out for tickets. All tickets were general admission, so people started lining up outside the gates at 2 p.m., and the gates didn't open until 6.

Calallen won last night (Fri) 6-2. Jordan Johns, the Oklahoma prospect left game with arm injury. Teams play again today at 11.
