Howard for Artest

On The Ticket they are talking about a potential trade between Dallas and Sacramento. The Mavs were hoping for:

Bass & Stackhouse for Artest

Sacramento wants:

Howard for Artest

I say do it. Obviously Artest more than makes up for the loss of D and rebounding, and I think that Dallas' offense should be fine. The knucklehead factor is strong; anyone know how Artest has behaved in Sac?

If Howard plays next season the way he did during this past playoffs, I'd trade him for Artest even if Artest was in jail.

I know this will piss some of you off but I think most of the team mailed it in after the first game of the playoffs, maybe even before that.

These guys are the same age. Mavs are stupid for not making this trade as quickly as possible. Artest is a much better competitor than Howard. Even when Howard is at his best he disappears in the clutch.
