How was Saturday's debacle your fault

I didn't stick around hoping for the monumental late comeback, like I did in '97............

Yellowdawg, I have carried the same cross for all of these years. For a while during the 2006 Rose Bowl, I was afraid I had jinxed Texas since the Rose Bowl is UCLA's home field.

Viper-

For the first two Rose Bowls I carried a pearl rosary, that I also had at the 2005 OU game. It only comes out for very special occasions. It's premier was the 1992 OU game and then the election night watch party a few weeks later. Since I was at a funeral saturday (with a different rosary), I am still thinking this is just a sign that I got my miracle in 1970 and to not invite these guys back.

I forgot to wash my 'gameday' shirt after the Tech game. I realized this at 1pm Saturday just before I left the house for the game. It reeked and was unwearable. I went with a backup shirt that felt uncomfortable even before I left the house...

also Viper.....with regard to your page sig.....

Years ago I saw Patti LaBelle (it was some diva gathering) and she was asked if she remembered the first time she had sex. Her response? "First time??? Hell I don't remember the last time".

I bought box seats, and was excited to be in the air condition (and I knew it would be the only time I ever got to sit in the box seats). I'm not even a foundation member. I should have bought cheap tickets in the sun where I belong!

Wore the same shirt I had on for KSU in 2007. I was in such a rush to leave for the tailgate, I didn't change into my normal game day dri-fit shirt. Shame on me.

I wore the same shirt that I did to the NC champ game. It's only been worn to two games. I then burned it on the grill

First time in about seven years I didnt watch game due to a commitment. My apologies to The Longhorn Nation. I accept all the blame. But no Canadian Longhorn Fan will be more committed, more die-hard and more passionate about watching Texas games the rest of this year! Hook Em! Mick

OK, I admit I know who is at fault and I have already chewed his *** out and he assured me it won't happen again. Fellow HF poster baoklahorn watched most of the ucla game with a sorry bastard sooner friend in Tulsa! I told him if it happened again he had to give me his Longhorn Card

I wore a new cap and forgot my lucky socks. I also blame xoij!@$S who moved the tailgate I usually attend by having his caterers set up early, which is against the rules, in the place the tailgate I attend usually has, so he could impress clients with his once a year shindig.

Sorry but the loss is completely my fault. Usually when we are losing I start to take off pieces of clothing until I find the item that is making us lose. For the 2005 National Championship game it was my tighty whiteys. I recently moved and I have not installed shades or curtains and since I live in New York all the people in the neighboring building would have seen me. My modesty made us lose.

Yes Worsterman,

I bit the poison cheese. While going to his house I remembered that the road I was on was the #66 as in Route 66.

I nearly aborted the trip at that point and now kinda wish I did.

The loss is completely my fault. I was unable to get to the offensive coordinators booth by the start of the 2nd half so that i could impart my vast knowledge and infinite wisdom to Greg Davis on how to successfully scheme college football offenses.

If only my superior playcalling skills and expertise game scheming had been made known, we would have never lost.

Sincerely,

Joe Fan

My girlfriend let me know real quick this was my fault. She knows how superstitious i am and that i NEVER change my game day rituals. Hell if athletes are superstitious, I have every right to be just as superstitious. Unfortunately, this past weekend, i did not one but TWO things that i'm still paying for today.

Kick Off Meal:
Every week i have my huge *** plate of shredded chicken queso topped with sour cream and fresh chilies along with a tall *** glass of Dr. Pepper. I have it timed so that i have it ready AT kickoff, not before, not after. If it's not ready at kickoff, well hell, that's the same as missing the first quarter because of some ******** double overtime thriller. I know, i hear it every week, i'm a mess.

This week, i was lazy and if it were anyone else, i'd be questioning their loyalty to the program. Sadly, I had a stuffed sub from Hungry Howie's instead

Game Day Attire:
always and i mean always wear my game day nike Texas football shirt. i actually bought a few extra in case the current shirt were to meet an untimely demise.

Wellllll this year i said the hell with it and finally broke down and bought an authentic #7 Texas jersey. Love it, heavy stretchable mesh, the real deal. If you've seen one or own one you know what i mean. Well, this was my first game to wear it and wow...did i pay the price. I should have known better, national stage, debut of #7....you would have thought i knew better following the Bama game.
