How to load hitachi dvd camcorder video onto puter

When I plug in the camera I cant get the computer to recognize the video on my DVD ram disc....I thought I would be able to burn everything I taped and then clear off the dvd to reuse..any ideas?

Same camera...same problem...out of ideas. We even bought additional software with no luck.

I guess yours came with the software with the camera as well? This sucks, wtf

Most video editing software requires the camera to be connected to your computer via firewire. This camera has a funky usb interface (if you can find the usb kit somewhere), and then the format can only be edited using Ulead's Movie Factory SE. Prepare for dropped frames and poor quality video.

Do a search on DZ-WINPC3 and you should find the usb interface you are looking for.
